Dan and the band in their debut performance in the beautiful confines of Gloria Dei Old Swedes' Church, a Philadelphia gem. The concert will include select songs that feature Canadian Dance legend Bill Coleman in a rare meeting of these two art forms. A performance that will bring the songs to a new light via interpretive tap and contemporary dance. And to add to this meeting of the arts, as usual, Dan will read excerpts from his books, a fan favorite that will complete this merging or "collision" of the arts. And to open the show, special guest Songwriter/Vocalist Judah Kim will play his combination of Indie and Alternative rock in an unplugged setting. It promises to be a one of a kind and a not to be missed event.

I will be playing a rare house concert in Yardley, Pa. on Saturday, May 4. It's a "down home" kind of event where people are listening in the friendly confines of someone's living room, and where if you're so inclined, you can bring your favorite appetizer or dessert to share with other attendees. It'll be intimate and it'll be real. Joining me will be my bandmate Claudia Terry, who will also be the opening act playing some of your favorite hit songs. A chance meeting at a bus stop at the LA Airport for two songwriters heading to a convention has led to a 25- year friendship in life and music. And to celebrate a quarter century, they are meeting up for a rare live stage appearance together to share their songs, stories and experiences in a songwriter’s night that is not to be missed. Dan May will read from his books: "Adventures in Grocery Shopping," (winner of The Philadelphia Inquirer's list of "Best Books of 2016”), "Street Urchins, Poets and Dream Visitors," and his most recent book, “Coop the Magic Pug,” a children’s book about his beloved dog Coop. The readings will be interspersed with songs from his six critically acclaimed albums, including "Dying Breed" (winner of The Philadelphia Inquirer's list of "Top 10 albums of 2011”), “Heartland,” and a new release due out this spring.
Dan returns to the Maritime Museum to mark the release of his new CD "Legacy." An acoustic concert featuring songs from the new CD and and other fan favorites in the unique confines of the Howman Boathouse. A one-of-a-kind concert experience.

In celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the Marblehead Lighthouse, Dan and the band will be a playing a FREE concert on the Lighthouse grounds on Saturday, July 16 at 7pm. The concert is sponsored by the Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society and will include food trucks, or you can pack a picnic and enjoy the music on your blanket or lawn chairs. The concert will feature songs celebrating the North Coast and a special song written especially for the event. Come join us on a summer evening of song. This is an all ages concert.
